MATTHEW 25
The Ten Virgins Waiting

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
We begin with the acknowledgment that the ten virgins represent all those upon the Earth that were 2011 Believers outside the Church during the Latter Rain.  As we look at this first verse we see that there was no actual "cry" given to go out and meet the bridegroom... they instead went out on their own to meet Him when no command was given. Notice that all ten virgins had lamps. All ten virgins went out to meet the bridegroom (Jesus). Why did they all have lamps? It must have been dark or night. Compare this darkness with Revelation 9. This is the picture of what happened on Judgment Day (M21). The Lord had allowed us to incorrectly assume that M21 would be the time of the Rapture. For if everyone knew that we would still be here for many years afterward, they would not have feverishly spent all their time, savings and retirement funds to broadcast the warning worldwide. This is how the Lord got the warning out globally - a one time massive effort, never again to be repeated.

And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
Now the Lord declares that 1/2 were saved & 1/2 were unsaved. Psalms 19:7 - wise/saved. Psalms 5:5 - foolish/unsaved. God's earthly kingdom has always contained the saved & unsaved (elect & unsaved), whether during the Temple Age, Church Age or Latter Rain Age. The Lord shows us an example of this Latter Rain Age as the ten virgins. Both the elect & unsaved went out expecting to meet Jesus at the Rapture on M21.

They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
The unsaved had lamps but no oil because they were not God's Olives. They had no light. They were not tread upon within the great winepress to produce the oil from the olives (Micah 6:15). The elect are compared to Olives & Grapes. Both of these are cast within a press, refined and offered to the Lord at the final Feast of Tabernacles.

But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
The elect not only had their lamps but also oil with them. Isaiah 62:1 tells us that the lamp of the saved is bright with righteousness and salvation. Olives, from which the oil is derived from (Leviticus 24:2) are shown to represent God's people, just as figs, wheat and grapes do (Psalms 52:8/Psalms 128:3).

While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
After the failed assumption that the Rapture would occur on Judgment Day (M21), the elect realized this verse and other scripture declaring that Jesus would tarry... it would yet be many years... a later appointed time. Although we now knew that there was a time of tarrying, we still knew not why. Another point to be made here is the fact that they slumbered and slept. Why is this verse important? Because we find that there is no work/harvesting nor information from God while we slumber and sleep.

* No harvesting means there is no harvesting of souls. Which clarifies that there is no more salvation after M21/Judgment Day. See verses below.

Proverbs 6:6-9
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

* No information from God means we were in the dark of why we were still here and for how long. We were perplexed. See verses below.

Proverbs 6:20-22
My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Now is the time that the "cry" is made to go out and meet the bridegroom because now is the time that He cometh. For now it is midnight. Judgment Day was not midnight. It was only the start of darkness, evening. Hebrew days always begin the evening before (Genesis 1:5). Judgment Day began on the evening of the 8400th day (final day) of our great tribulation. But just because His people now heard the "cry" that Jesus cometh, it does'nt mean it is immediate. It just means we now have additional information that it is soon.

Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
As we see, there will still be tares within the "congregation" outside of the Church when the "cry" goes out that Jesus cometh. It states that they trimmed their lamps. This shows that their lamps were burning for awhile as they waited, yet another example how we have waited after Judgment Day.

And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
Proverbs 13:9/Proverbs 20:20 declare the lamps of the unsaved go out.

But the wise answered, sayingNot so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
There appears to be a short period of time here for they know that Jesus is now on His way and the virgins are now ready to meet Him but they are'nt sure how long their oil will last till they actually meet. This seems to fit within the proposal that we can know the date of the Rapture but not the actual day/hour due to all the different time zones.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Again, here we see that they know He is actually on His way and have an unspecified short time to leave and try and buy some oil and hopefully return in time but fail. This door that is now shut here in verse 10 is not the door to salvation as previously thought. It is the door to Heaven... the Rapture.

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
This is a frightening verse when compared to what Jesus declared...
Matthew 7:23
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
By carefully studying the verses above and other corresponding scripture, the Lord definitely declares that we absolutely can not know the day or hour of His return. But knowing the date seems to fit the context without conflicting with any scripture. Especially with all the evidence shown throughout this website. It is not the intention to force scripture to bend to our imaginative ideas. But to compare all scripture within itself and come to a logical conclusion that fulfills all scripture. Not of our own understanding but of constant begging of guidance from the Holy Spirit.

An interesting point
The lamps of the 10 virgins

The lamp
When we  look at the two verses below we find that our lamp is the holy scriptures, the Bible. The Bible is the Word of God and His commandments. Both the Elect and the unsaved have access to the physical Bible. But only the Elect have God's law within their hearts to light their path. This is why the Lord puts out the lamp of the unsaved.

Psalm 119:105
NUN.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Proverb 6:23
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life

Proverb 13:9
The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

Knowing ahead of time

The Ten Virgins prematurely went out to meet the Bridegroom on their own but then later actually heard the "cry" and knew when He was to come except they knew not the hour. This is in direct comparison with Elijah & Elisha, they both knew when the Lord was coming but knew not the hour.
