THE FURNACE OF BONDAGE

God shows us that His people came out of the furnace of bondage after all three great tribulations. For our Final Great Tribulation this was at Judgment Day (May 21, 2011). This was the Great Multitude which no man can number represented as the Locusts coming forth out of the bottomless pit.

Jacob's great tribulation came to an end after 7 years but they remained within Egypt for an additional 425 years because God was creating a nation. Then they were finally released from bondage. God symbolized this bondage as a furnace. The Israelites came forth out of the furnace.

Their bondage/captivity was physical. They were under slavery to the Egyptians.

I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

Judah's great tribulation came to an end after 70 years. King Cyrus declared a decree that the Judeans could return to their own land because they were released from their bondage. Again, this bondage was referenced to a furnace. The Judeans came forth out of the furnace.

Their bondage/captivity was both physical and spiritual (forced to worship the king of Babylon).

Lamentations 1:3
Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits.

Ezra 9:9
For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.

Daniel 3:17-18
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image...
8400 day Great Tribulation ends

Our great tribulation came to an end after 23 years. Every person that the Lord had planned to save from the beginning of time was saved out of the bondage to sin. This bondage is known as the furnace. The Great Multitiude (symbolized as the Locusts) came forth out of the furnace.

The Great Multitude were under the bondage of sin until every soul that God had intended to save was saved on M21.

Romans 8:21
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Revelation 9:1-4
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

God's people coming out of the furnace of bondage
Every soul that has ever lived has been in the furnace
All persons are under the wrath of God and in bondage to sin until the Lord shows mercy to those individuals He has chosen to save.

* The unsaved within the furnace:
They remain under the bondage of sin and not with God. These souls may or may not believe in the Lord.
They are afflicted with the heat by being burned and finally destroyed at the End.

* The saved within the furnace:
They are purified as silver within the furnace and are no longer under the bondage of sin and come out. These are God's chosen throughout history.
The unsaved within the furnace
The unsaved are under condemnation

Matthew 13:41-42
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
