Kingdoms arise from the sea
Kings arise from the earth
This is a simple chart showing how the four Beasts in Daniel 7 represent both a kingdom and a king. And how God separates the kingdom and the king into two separate beasts in Revelation 13.

Satan's kingdom
In the books of Daniel and Revelation, God represents Satan's kingdom as beasts arising to power. These two events from Daniel & Revelation are describing the same kingdom arising to power from different viewpoints.
In order to undertand the New Testament Beasts arising to power, we must take a look at the Old Testament Beasts arising first. This is because God explains in detail what these Beasts represent. Knowing these details we can then understand what the First Beast & the Second Beast represent in the book of Revelation. This is why we have to compare scripture with scripture.
SATAN'S KINGDOM ARISING ACCORDING TO DANIEL
Daniel 7
Satan's kingdom arises
This is a simple explanation
to compare Daniel's 4 Beasts
with Revelation's 2 Beasts.
Scripture declares that these 4 Beasts are both from the sea and also from the earth.
Each Beast represents both:
1. a kingdom
2. and it's king

KINGDOMS ARISE FROM THE SEA
Daniel 7:1-8 declares that all these Beasts arise from the sea. And that they are all kingdoms via Daniel 7:23.
These four Beasts are all from the
sea and are declared kingdoms
KINGS ARISE FROM THE EARTH
Daniel 7:15-28 declares that all four Beasts arise from the earth. And that they are kings via Daniel 7:17.
These same Beasts are also from the earth
and are declared kings
SATAN'S KINGDOM ARISING ACCORDING TO REVELATION
Revelation 13
Satan's kingdom arises
The Lord confused the information in Revelation 13
concerning the First & Second Beasts until these End Times.
Instead of a Beast representing both Satan's kingdom and it's king,
God splits the kingdom and the king into two separate Beasts.
But the Lord still follows His rule that the kingdom arises from the sea and the king arises from the earth
The First Beast represents The Second Beast represents
the kingdom arising from the sea the king arising from the earth
