DANIEL CHAPTER 7 - DANIEL'S DREAM
1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.
2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.
This is similar language used right before this Final Great Tribulation began.
Rev. 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
THE FOUR GREAT BEASTS ARE FIRST DESCRIBED TO ARISE FROM THE SEA (VERSE 3) AS KINGDOMS (VERSE 23).
3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.
5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.
6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
THE FOURTH BEAST - SATAN'S FINAL KINGDOM
Devouring God's people
7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it;...
This Final Beast devoured and stamped the residue (God's people). This is the same action that the Bear Beast (above) did. The Bear Beast was the Babylonian Empire devouring the nation of Judah during their great tribulation. The 3 ribs represented God's people (the 1/3rd). Eve was made from Adam's rib. These 3 ribs represent 3 women (3 virgins / the 1/3). This Final Beast is doing the same thing in these End Times.
ONLY THE FINAL FOURTH BEAST HAS 10 HORNS
...and it had ten horns.
Notice that there is no mention of these horns being crowned as yet. This is because this dream of Daniel's was during Judah's great tribulation within Babylon. This Fourth Beast is a future event.
WHO IS THIS ADDITIONAL LITTLE KING?
8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
Ok, lets decipher this verse very carefully. Daniel is looking at the 10 Horns and suddenly another Litttle Horn comes up among them. So, we know that this additional Little Horn is not of the original 10 Horns and yet is within & among them. We know that the 10 Horns are in agreement with this additional Little Horn because those whom disagreed with it (3 Horns) were plucked up by the roots. And finally, this Little Horn appears to be a man speaking great things but also a small king (Little Horn).
A TIME OF JUDGMENT
9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
Whose thrones were cast down? Satan's and the 10 Horns reigning as his kings for an "hour" (Rev. 17:12). This includes the global Church first and ultimately the unsaved world at Judgment Day... May 21, 2011.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
Again, this was Judgment Day... May 21, 2011. This is not at the end of the world. This was the final separation between the saved and unsaved. Revelation 14 describes it as the Final Harvest of souls.
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
Notice how the Little Horn continued it's mission of speaking blasphemy all the way up to Judgment Day. At that time, Satan's authority as king was taken away and his ability to deceive as the False Prophet was also taken away because everyone whom was to be saved, was now saved globally. The kingship & False Prophet are not actual entities but instead are just governmental titles of the 2nd Beast that arose from the earth. The 2nd Beast that arose from the earth was Satan's government of the kingdom.
Look how the Beast was slain and his body destroyed and given to the burning flame. Which Beast is this referring to, the kingdom that arose from the sea or the kingship (government) of that kingdom that arose from the earth? It was the latter. The kingship. When Satan was de-throned as king on Judgment Day, it also de-throned all his 10 Horns (the congregations). On Judgment Day, all that were to be saved, were saved. The judgment was set.
12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
DANIEL CHAPTER 7 - THE ANGEL'S INTERPRETATION
15 I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.
16 I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
THE 4 GREAT BEASTS ARE NOW ALSO DESCRIBED AS ARISING FROM THE EARTH AND ARE KINGS (VERSE 17).
17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
Notice that in verse 3, Daniel describes the 4 beasts as rising from the sea. Daniel 7:23 / Rev. 13:1 / 17:9 all declare that the beasts that rise from the sea are Satan's kingdoms. Yet here within verse 17, he now describes these same 4 beasts as kings rising from the earth (as in Rev. 13:11). Both are separate yet the same. Every kingdom needs a king. Each beast is Satan & his kingdom. They rise together. This answers the question of who/what are the 2 beasts that arise out of the sea/earth during Daniel's 2300 days within Revelation 13.
Also notice that the beast in Revelation 13 is a combination of all 4 beasts of Daniel 7. This is Satan's full kingdom represented.
THE FOURTH BEAST - SATAN'S FINAL KINGDOM
Devouring God's people
18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
This is referring to the fall Satan's Kingdom in the End Days.
19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
Here God declares that this Final Beast was "diverse" from all the other beasts. How? All the other Beasts mentioned before it were actual nation kingdoms such as the Roman Empire. This Final Beast is not a nation kingdom but instead a kingdom of nations. We will see in Revelation that it is the Church. The Church is in all nations and is of all nations. It is larger and more dispersed worldwide than any physical nation kingdom that has ever existed.
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
It is now declared that this Beast will take over the whole earth.
ONLY THE FINAL FOURTH BEAST HAS 10 HORNS
20 And of the ten horns that were in his head,...
The angel now gives Daniel alittle more information. Although it may seem obvious, it is stated that the 10 horns were in it's head. This Final Beast has only one head so we know that it is Satan's final kingdom.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise:
The 10 Horns are now described as 10 Kings of the kingdom.
WHO IS THIS ADDITIONAL LITTLE KING?
... and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
This Little Horn was more "stout" (higher rank, chief, greater) than all the other 10 Horns. The question that must be answered is, how can this "Little Horn" be more "stout" than the taller 10 Horns? Notice here in verse 20, the 3 horns are "felled". This word "fell" means to fall or be inferior. They are "subdued" and "worn out" by the "Little Horn". These 3 Horns were still within the midst of the 10 Horns but were made inferior while they remained. It is now that the angel explains to Daniel that the 3 Horns that are plucked up and felled are God's People the Saints that this Little Horn makes war against and overcame.
... and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
The Little Horn is described as being separate and different than the original 10 Horns.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
He will "wear out the saints" (the 3 horns/the 1/3rd) and "change times and laws" during the "time, times and dividing of time (first 2300 days/time, times and half a time).
A TIME OF JUDGMENT
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
We know that the previous verse (21) is referring to the 2nd beast arising after the 2 Witnesses have finished their testimony because here in verse 22 it declares Satan's war/killing/prevailing against them continues UNTIL the Rapture (when the saints posses the kingdom) and the End.
26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
ADDITIONAL CORRESPONDING SCRIPTURE
Satan's kingdom is always the beast(s) arising from the sea. Satan as the king of each kingdom beast(s) always arises from the earth. In Daniel 7, God portrays Satan and his kingdom together as 4 Beasts. In Revelation 13, God portrays Satan and his kingdom as 2 Beasts. No matter how many Beasts are portrayed, it is the number of heads that remain consistant representing Satan's full 7 kingdoms with himself being king over those kingdoms. Both in Daniel 7 & in Revelation 13, there are 7 heads portrayed. Those 7 heads represent Satan's 7 physical kingdoms that God allowed him to rule over within history. Those 7 kingdoms are as follows:
1. Assyrian Empire
2. Babylonian Empire
3. Persian Empire
4. Greek Empire
5. Roman Empire
6. No empire allowed (Rev. 13:3)
7. Church Empire (Given to him)
ONLY 2 BEASTS ARISE: SATAN'S KINGDOM ARISES FROM THE SEA WHILE SATAN AS KING ARISES FROM THE EARTH.
Revelation 13:1-2 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
Notice how this Beast has the characteristics of Daniel 7's Beasts of a lion, bear & leopard.
Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
THE CHURCH - SATAN'S FINAL KINGDOM
Devouring God's people
Revelation 13:6-7 And he (the Beast) opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Revelation 13:15 And he (the Beast) had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
The Church (Satan's final kingdom) is Daniel's Fourth Beast.
ONLY THE FINAL HEAD (KINGDOM) HAS 10 HORNS
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
As we see within Revelation.13:1, God tells us what the ten horns of Daniel's fourth beast are... they are 10 kings (crowns), only now during these End Times are they crowned. We know from other scripture that these kings are people within the Church - the congregation during this Final Great Tribulation. Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. But one might ask, why 10 horns? We see this same pattern in the Old Testament. When the nation of Israel (God's kingdom) split into two separate nations, only 2 Tribes followed God as the nation of Judah. The other 10 Tribes whom did not follow God remained as the nation of Israel. Following this, these 10 Horns are the unsaved congregation taking over the Church as God gives it up to Satan.
WHO IS THIS ADDITIONAL LITTLE KING?
Revelation 13:5-7 And there was given unto him [the Beast (kingdom)] a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him [the Beast (kingdom)] to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
We see that Satan's Kingdom is given a mouth to speak great things and blasphemies against God and to make war with God's People the Saints and to overcome them. This corresponds with Daniel 7's Little Horn speaking great things & plucking up by the roots and felling 3 of the horns (the1/3rd) which represent God's People the Saints. We now know that this "Little Horn" is Satan working as the False Prophet deceiving his unsaved congregation and using them as his eyes and mouth to broadcast the his deception of the false christ & false gospel within the Church.
1. The Little Horn came up after the 10 Horns
This shows it was not originally part of the 10 Horns
2. The Little Horn immediately subdued 3 Horns
It took command overcoming it's adversaries (Elect)
3. The Little Horn had eyes and mouth of a man
Satan using his new false priests/pastors for his word
4. The Little Horn was more "stout" than the 10 Horns
Satan is the authority behind his false priests/pastors
5. The Little Horn declared war against God's People
Satan declared war against the saints via Rev. 11:7
6. This Little Horn gave the 10 Horns it's false gospel
Satan gave the congregation it's false gospel (Rev 13:5)
Another proof that this "Little Horn" is Satan as the False Prophet working through his false priests/pastors (man's eyes & mouth) is found in Revelation 17:11 below:
Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
It clearly shows that Satan as king [Beast (7 heads = 7 kings)], is also the Little Horn (8th king) because it then states this 8th king is not an additional king but is of the 7 kings. Remember that Satan with his rebel angels play 3 roles... king, false prophet & false christ.
Why is Satan represented as the Eighth? The False Prophet.
Who is the only other described as the Eighth? The prophet Noah.
2 Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly
Just a side note: the word "person" is not in the original manuscripts. So it should read - "Noah the eighth" only.
Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Take notice though that the full picture is given us by God when we compare Daniel 7:8 with Daniel 7:20;
Daniel 7:20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
Daniel 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
During the 2300 days, the 3 horns (also can be translated the third of the horns - Strong's # H8532), the Elect, are first "felled"... verse 7:20. The Interlinear Scriptural Analyzer (exact Hebrew word-for-word) describes this word "fell" as: they-were-felled-to-stumps. This clearly shows they remained within the 2300 days but were trampled upon and "killed".
And also the beast "stamped the residue"... verses 7:7 & 7:19.
The next act that follows, the 3 horns (the third of the horns), the Elect, are "plucked up" and leave the other horns... verse 7:8.
This can only be during the 6100 days of salvation when the Elect were called out of the "holy place".
WHO IS THIS "LITTLE HORN" THAT HAS SUCH A "FIERCE STANCE" & FIERCE COUNTENANCE" AS DESCRIBED HERE IN DANIEL 7 & DANIEL 8?
We have already seen how these four beasts represent two different entities... each represents both a kingdom and the king of that kingdom. This solves the mystery of Revelation 13 of the two beasts arising, one from the sea (the kingdom) and the other arising from the earth (the king of that kingdom). And that they both arise together at the same time. But what of this "fierce little horn"?
Rev. 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Rev. 9:3 And there came out of the smoke (of the bottomless pit) locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
Rev. 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences shall stand up.

Verses 1-8 Daniel's dream is located to the left.
Verses 15-25 The angel's interpretation is in the middle.
Additional End Times Information is located to the right.
Daniel chapter 7 gives us a massive amount of information concerning these Latter Days. The chapter is divided into two sections. The first section, verses 1-8 is describing Daniel's dream of the four beasts which we will see represent Satan's different kingdoms throughout history. And of course, each kingdom requires a king which is Satan. Notice how each of the first three beasts are described as a type of animal. But the final fourth beast is not. This is because the final beast is a combination of all the previous beasts... representing Satan's complete kingdom (Rev. 13:1). We will also see that the ten horns are represented as the unsaved within the Church (the congregation) whom are allowed to take over by God and subdue the Elect. In the second section, verses 15-25 God is giving Daniel additional information concerning the first 14 verses. This gives us a clearer, broader picture of these Latter Days. When studied carefully, we can understand how the 2 Beasts arising in Revelation 13 are the combined representation of Daniel's 4 Beasts of Satan's Kingdom particularliy the final head (Lion, Bear, Leopard, 7 heads, arising from the windy sea & earth).
DANIEL'S 4 BEASTS ARE THE 2 BEASTS OF REVELATION 13
Now that we have compared the 4 Beasts of Daniel 7 to the 2 Beasts of Revelation 13, we can now understand that Daniel's 4 Beasts are a preliminary prophesy of Satan's full kingdom that arises in these End Times within Revelation 13. The Beast that rises from the Sea & the Beast that rises from the earth.
